New QB: Adam Farkes

The University of Maine will turn to QB Adam Farkes against Massachusetts Saturday to try and right their offensive woes.
Farkes, a redshirt freshman, replaced starter Michael Brusko late in the second quarter in Maine's loss to Villanova on Saturday, and earned himself the nod.
"I think Saturday gave us an indication of the way we want to go with our football team," said Coach Jack Cosgrove. "We had started out with Michael Brusko. He had won the job and (we) gave him a chance to move the football, and he did not do that. (Farkes) is going to be the guy now we’ll move forward with in terms of running our offense."
Farkes has a very strong arm which is expected to lift Maine's passing game. He's completed 15 of 31 passes with just one interception in two appearances so far.
