Farkes update

Maine quarterback Adam Farkes sustained a significant shoulder injury in Saturday's 27-10 upset over Delaware, and may be out of the lineup for a substantial amount of time according to Coach Jack Cosgrove.

Cosgrove addressed Farkes' status in Monday morning's Colonial Athletic Association conference call.

"He won't be around for a while," said Cosgrove. "I don't know exactly what the extent of the injury will be until tomorrow. . . Certainly he's going to be missed."

Farkes had offseason shoulder surgery after last season on the same shoulder.

Backup Michael Brusko entered the game late in the second quarter with Maine trailing 10-3.
