On vacation
We're putting the blog on hiatus now that the campaign season has ended.
Dieter Bradbury, our political correspondent, is on vacation. And the other members of the Political Extra team have moved back to their regular beats covering news and issues in greater Portland.
When Dieter returns, we'll restart the blog, focusing on the impact of the Obama administration on Maine and its four-member congressional delegation. Stay tuned!

LIVE BLOG: Election Night at Press Herald Plaza
We've got a long night ahead of us folks and all hands are on deck down here in the Press Herald newsroom.
