What IS A SELF Fulfilling prophesy. What can people talk about in this newspaper and on TV without you saying it has the potential of leading to a self fulfilling prophesy?

Pat, should we not have talked about the Hamas shelling of Gaza, should we not have talked about the Israeli invasion of Gaza, should we not have talked about the high oil prices in the summer, should we not have talked about second hand smoke in cars (and got a no smoking in cars when children are present law passed?), should we not talk about spousal abuse?
