Does anyone understand how the driver ratings work? I don't understand it at all. My bad.
And as always, here's the NASCAR Newscast: Chase Race 2 at Dover Preview:
racefan knows everything and I am sure she will be commenting when she checks in. I, for one, do not think the chase regulations are a good way to proceed. I rather see the year just proceed and the one who gets the most pts. wins the championship. But what do I know? I am always interested in learning from other blogger's comments. Meanwhile, I am going with Kyle to win. I think Cousin Carl will be a great contender also. It would be great to have JR. win, but the poor guy isn't in the cards to win, even though he has Hendrick coaching him. He needs to keep his mouth shut and race the way he knows how, with his father's help.

Here is a breakdown of the driver rating system, Jen. It's pretty involved.
I have said in the past, MsBoogity, how much I dislike the Chase. The top twelve will race each other and then there will be all of the rest and all of the rest with the exception of a few will pull over to let the Chase drivers by.

About this blog:
I am hopeful that this will be a place where people can air their two cents' worth about a race, catch up on the gossip and share their opinions on the rules and regulations of NASCAR. I have always felt that there has been a need for such a place in Maine and that this blog helps to fill the void.
