It's overcast here at NHMS

Good morning from New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Here's what's on tap for today:

10:30 to 11:50 Truck Series practice is at
12:00 to 1:30 Sprint Cup practice
1:45 to 3:00 Final practice for the Truck Series
3:10 Sprint Cup qualifying
5:10 The start of the Camping World East Heluva Good! Fall 125 race

It is overcast here right now. Hopefully it burns off and we can get everything in the schedule done.

Sure hope Sunday is free of rain as I have a ticket to attend the race. Is the Camping World East Heluva Good Fall race being televised. I couldn't find it anywhere.

I doubt if they will televise it live. The truck race will be on Speed, I believe.

The latest weather prediction says showers early Sunday and clearing in the afternoon, but that is probably the 3rd or 4th different report I've heard.

What's everybody's pick for Sunday? I am going with Tony. He does very well, but gets bitten with bad luck at NHMS. Maybe his luck will change Sunday.

Well, they just called off qualifying, looks like it's raining pretty hard down there......thanks for keeping us posted, Jenn!

Anyone want to take a bet on Logano? I will take Flat Track Hamlin as my pick. All of the Gibbs drivers will run well, possibly a 123 finish?

About this blog:
I am hopeful that this will be a place where people can air their two cents' worth about a race, catch up on the gossip and share their opinions on the rules and regulations of NASCAR. I have always felt that there has been a need for such a place in Maine and that this blog helps to fill the void.
