Kyle Busch all the way this weekend

We're off to Bristol this weekend. I love the racing at Bristol. It's one of those tracks where anybody could win. It's tough to predict a winner here.

Nonetheless, I'll go with Kyle Busch to win this weekend. He is, afterall, the greatest driver there ever was. I think he'll be the point leader in all three divisions after this weekend as well. I am, of course, saying all of this completely sarcastically. But seriously, he is my pick this weekend.

Who's yours?

Let's see how much more Tony Stewart whines about the tires this weekend. I am sure he'll spout off again about them.

Kyle won this race last year. His brother has had more success at Bristol, but I think little brother can kick big brother's butt.I watched him last August at Bristol put that car in places where you'd think a car couldn't go.

Tony only said what others thought. He's testing the waters to see if Nascar officials will really back off this year. Nascar had Mike Helton call TSL and discuss the issue.

Bristol is known for causing tempers to explode. Perhaps that Texas bounty will be won Sunday.

I'm going with the "Wild Bunch", Smoke and Rowdy.

I'm not getting good, winner picking, vibes this week, Racefan. But I will give it a shot. Kyle will win and Gordon and Stewart will be in the top five. Newman, Mears, Harvick, and Earnheart will be in the top ten. I am patiently waiting for JR to get his first win and really thought he would get it last week.

Sounds good. I've picked Harvick in with my fantasy choices along with the Gibbs boys. I also like Kenseth and Biffle. I don't think Jr will win this one. Perhaps Texas or Dega.

Anybody else want to predict the winner for today's race?

About this blog:
I am hopeful that this will be a place where people can air their two cents' worth about a race, catch up on the gossip and share their opinions on the rules and regulations of NASCAR. I have always felt that there has been a need for such a place in Maine and that this blog helps to fill the void.
