Cousin Carl Conquers California

It's finally over. We can now put this rain-delayed NASCAR fiasco behind us and move on... Carl Edwards got his first victory at the Auto Club Speedway, formerly known as California Speedway. (They announced the name change last Friday.)
I'll admit it, I didn't watch the entire race today. I just saw bits and pieces of it. AND I was too grumpy this morning to set the DVR or even figure out what was going on with racing so that I could watch it tonight.
My pick for the race, Kurt Busch, finished 13th. Here are the unofficial results.
All for now.

Next time, pick the other Busch brother!

I'm not so sure I'll ever pick him to win. Besides, in this instance, it would have been the same result in the end...it would have been the wrong pick.

Maybe the wrong pick for the race but certainly the right pick for a championship.

Wrong pick for the championship!. His is still way to cocky and immature to be champion.

Way too cocky? They're all cocky in their own right, some just show it more openly than others. I'd rather see someone being outwardly cocky and showing their true personality than see some fake TV personality like Kasey Kahne or Jamie McMurray. Their "uncockiness" has gotten them close to the front hasn't it?

Tony Stewart is the cockiest, but with 32 or so wins and two championships- he can back it up.
Jr is cocky, but he has wins. Same thing with cousin Carl and even Kenseth.
Kyle Busch could very well be a champion. Jimmie Johnson took a couple years to grow and now he is a force.
