Junior's car on display

Juniornewcars.jpg

Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s No. 88 Army National Guard car will be on display at Maine Indoor Karting on Friday, Feb. 8 from 10 a.m. to 10.p.m.

It's free, so if you're "amped" up about this racing season, go take a look. Weather won't be an issue as the car will be displayed indoors.

Daytona has not been high on my list of tracks to go to either. It just sort of happened by accident.

I wanted to go to Lowe's this year for the 600, but have not been able to find a ticket for a good seat at a reasonable price.

Will absolutely be going to Talladega in April though.

I'll be sitting on the start-finish line in a tower seat tomorrow night. I'll be right there to watch any fence climbing that might happen. If y'all tune in, I'll wave to you!!

I'll share any interesting encounter I might have.

Awesome Shootout! The 500 ought to be terrific! I have a picture of Jr's burnout Jen. Haven't looked at my pictures yet, but if it's a good shot, I'll send it to you.

About this blog:
I am hopeful that this will be a place where people can air their two cents' worth about a race, catch up on the gossip and share their opinions on the rules and regulations of NASCAR. I have always felt that there has been a need for such a place in Maine and that this blog helps to fill the void.
