Haircuts, chinese food, etc.

Here are a few thoughts running around in my head in no particular order:

Stewart012108.jpg

Um, Tony, you are in desperate need of a haircut. You're looking a bit ragged. I hope you're not pulling a Kyle Petty and deciding to grow your hair out until your next victory.

There are a lot of folks in the newsroom that are sick. I am scared I'm next...uugh.

I had chinese food for lunch yesterday and while I was eating it I was wishing so bad that it wasn't so fattening. I think I could eat it at least once a week.

I haven't decided on a new picture yet. I'm thinking I may be leaning towards just keeping the one I have as a 'remember when...' type of picture. Plus that's the best cop out I have to NOT get a new one. Although, I think the funniest suggestion was from Jacko. It made me laugh.

Did you see that they made a change to where they'll distribute the money from driver penalties throughout the year? If you didn't, they are now going to donate the funds from the penalties to the Nascar Foundation. It's about time they put that money to good use. I never liked the idea of them doling out the penalty money back to the drivers at the end of the season. Correct me if I'm wrong, but couldn't some of that money, potentially, go back to those very drivers that got penalized?

If you find any typos in this blog entry, it's because I swear they have the air conditioning on over my head. My fingers are frozen and I think I can see my breath.

All for now...

That's hilarious stuff you guys. I don't think Smoke has a line of household goods. Maybe at Home Depot? I'll have to go look now. I want that basket and spoon. I do have a #3 coffee cup.

If I had that kind of money, d--- straight I would have bought that firesuit. I will not embarrass myself and tell you how much I bid once at an auction for a hunk of ripped up metal off one of his cars. And I still didn't win it! Am saving now for the charity auction at Talladega. Maybe I'll get lucky and get something good.

Good idea for the penalty fund money.

I don't care much for the unshaven, long haired look either, but whatever.

Jenny, Hey my son has a "Fathead" on his wall and guess what it's Tony. Wouldn't that make a great new picture for your blog?? Tony & Jen....What do you think?LOL

Carrie, I make so many jabs at Stewart throughout the year that people would wonder why I have a picture standing next to him...thank you for the offer. Maybe when I'm down at Loudon this year, I may work on getting a few live photos...like I did with Boris.

Find Boris again and ask him to tell you the Dale Sr- peanut butter and jelly sandwich story. Funny stuff.

Why would we want to see a picture of hair and one little tiny Jen head in the corner?
Seriously though, a Said Head pic would be nice. Ought to be able to find a wig somewhere.

And yes, to all of you wrote before.....My infant daughter's first words were Nony! Nony! (she couldn't say T's very well)

"Gimme a head with hair, long beautiful hair......" It is far better than Hendrick ceasar style Jimmie Johnson and Junior look. Remember the "Johnny Damon Ive just gone to the Yankees" look. Jimmie Johnsons gonna be as bald as Zippy in a couple of years.
If drivers were judged by hair Boris Said and Kyle Petty would finished first and second every race.
Lorne Wallace is 100 miles away and ready to strike. Greatest thing to every climb into a race car, people say.

I went to Home Depot in Seabrook last week, there is a Coke machine there with Tony Stewart on it, I knew it was there so I brought a cut out of Jeff Gordons face and covered Tony's with it, LOL...Wonder if anyone has noticed yet.

Hey,whyaskwhy, want another good laugh? Nascar is going to not be so strict this year when drivers have confrontations. They want the drivers' to be allowed to show their personalities now! LOL!!

Stewart says he'll believe that when he sees it. I think he should test it out first.

January 31, 2008 10:11 AM

Yeah, um, there's no question in my mind that he would be the first one to test it out.

About this blog:
I am hopeful that this will be a place where people can air their two cents' worth about a race, catch up on the gossip and share their opinions on the rules and regulations of NASCAR. I have always felt that there has been a need for such a place in Maine and that this blog helps to fill the void.
