Tony's tale

Yesterday I had planned on first listening to Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s teleconference and then listening to Tony Stewart's teleconference. The latter part did not happen. Junior's teleconference started about 10 minutes late because they were on the track practicing at Daytona International Speedway.

However, I know there's a whole bunch of you "Stewies" out there so I wanted to share the complete audio of the teleconference that took place yesterday.

Today's lineup of drivers to be interviewed was supposed to be Denny Hamlin and Kasey Kahne. Due to weather, they have scrapped those interview sessions and are running practice straight through 4 p.m. or until the weather gets bad.

All for now.

Is this a racing blog or Guiding Light? What's next, a look back at where Luke and Laura are these days? Who cares about who Smoke is dating?

SJH: A lot of female fans care. Why, I don't know. I think he's pretty goofy looking. I'm sure there are a few men who care, too ;-) Most race fans like to know everything about their driver...

Racefan...welcome back. Haven't heard from you in a while. Not many could afford that, but there is no doubt in my mind that if you could, you would.

Seriously, that is funny stuff right there. I have this vision of you at Thanksgiving dinner and racefan saying "son, can you please pass me the Tony Stewart basket of biscuits..." or "Son, can you go to the kitchen and get that Tony Stewart big spoon for the potatoes"

How do you know she's a witch?.....cause she floats. What also floats?
boats, very small rocks.....wood and a duck.
So if she weighs less than a duck, she must be made of wood.
Burn her, Burn her.
Stewies of the world I think we should embrace the fact that sooner or later Smoke is going to have some baggage. However if these are just a rumor, he brings his own baggage anyways. Go Tony in your shiny new orange Toyota... make us proud. Cut your hair like Greg Zippedeli.

About this blog:
I am hopeful that this will be a place where people can air their two cents' worth about a race, catch up on the gossip and share their opinions on the rules and regulations of NASCAR. I have always felt that there has been a need for such a place in Maine and that this blog helps to fill the void.
