I am off the subject a bit here but I felt the need to chime in on the Sandbagger entry, I have been out of town for a while and just got the chance to read it.
You anti - Gordons are a funny bunch. Winning championships is not about driving like hell to the front every week with reckless abandon. How many times have you watched races when until the end of the race you almost forgot Mark Martin, Jeff Burton, and even the Late Great Dale Earnhardt were even there. Being a Champion is about consistency, driving smart and being there to lead the most important last lap. Gordon is on his way to his fifth championship by being a talented smart driver. As for whining, do you remember the guy that drove the 2 car in the past? Gordons concern for having a rookie (yes Jacques is a rookie in these heavy ill handling cars) in the field doesnt even hold a candle to the rantings of Rusty Wallace.

Hi Jenn ... What's your take on Putting a road Course in the Chase We have Super Speedways in the Chase ( Daytona) Short tracks( Martinsville) Why not add WG or Infineon in the mix on the chase?
I absolutley LOVE road courses and would very much enjoy watching one during the Chase. To have a full blend of racetracks in the Chase makes perfect sense to me.

About this blog:
I am hopeful that this will be a place where people can air their two cents' worth about a race, catch up on the gossip and share their opinions on the rules and regulations of NASCAR. I have always felt that there has been a need for such a place in Maine and that this blog helps to fill the void.
