lowes.jpg

Here are some facts and stats from NASCAR on Lowe's Motor Speedway:

Race #: 31 of 36 (10-8-07)
Track Size: 1.5 miles
Race Length: 334 laps/500 miles
• Banking/Corners: 24 degrees
• Banking/Straights: 5 degrees
• Frontstretch: 1,980 feet
• Backstretch: 1,500 feet

Based on the info above, I have to go with either one of the Hendrick boys to win, Jimmie Johnson or Jeff Gordon. I typically go with an underdog also. And this race is no different. My third pick will be Kasey Kahne who has won here twice.

Here's the viewing schedule for this weekend.

This is definitely another Hendricks track. Johnson will probably take it as JG's luck is not always on his side at Lowe's. For a long shot, I expect either Kenseth or Edwards could win.

I'm still favoring Tony, though. He won 3 out of the 10 races last year during the Chase and still has time to do it again.

I've got jr car blowing up at lap 110 and him storming out of the track tired of excuses from his step momma. Vows not to race rest of season until who ever the genius is who is putting the Fisher-Price engines in the cars, is run out of Nascar.

Sorry I forgot to put my name on the above entry. Don't tell Lorne Wallace.... I hear he is made of lightning and is 100 miles away, ready to strike.

About this blog:
I am hopeful that this will be a place where people can air their two cents' worth about a race, catch up on the gossip and share their opinions on the rules and regulations of NASCAR. I have always felt that there has been a need for such a place in Maine and that this blog helps to fill the void.
