Stepmommy Dearest
Just because there is usually one day a week that I throw something out there that is completely off topic and a bit silly...
With Dale Earnhardt Jr. heading to Hendrick Motor Sports next year, how can the name DEI remain DEI? After all, there will be no Dale anywhere...
My suggestion: TEI, Teresa Earnhardt Inc.
Can you tell I'm a little bitter about Jr. leaving DEI? It makes me question whether or not I have to go through another round of photos for the blog. I seriously don't want to have to go through another 100 pictures to find one that I kind of like.
I think I may just keep the one I have and it will be a "remember when..."
A classic.
Another thing that I've thought about is whether or not dale3 fan ended up burning all of his/her Dale Jr. stuff. This race fan mentioned it in my entry, Dale Jr. has made a decision.
So, dale3 fan, if you're out there, did you do it? I'm just curious.

I think it will do Jr good to get out sort of on his own for awhile. I hate him going to Hendricks, but that may be a good fit for him right now.
No need to change the name. I predict that Jr will be back after awhile. I think Jr needs to get out from under his Dad's shadow and become his own person.

Dales step momma is evil. Plan and simple. To expect him to drive as good as he does or better. Then critique his driving.I would not view her as step mother, only as owner. Thats it,thats all.
He is better off with Hendricks.

Teresa better just keep her greedy hands off Lorne Wallace. If she can't respect her family- How is she gonna respect the "greatest thing to ever climb into a race car"?

A NASCAR.com news article states: "Our hope was to carry the No. 8 with Dale Jr. to his new team, but the last proposal Hendrick Motorsports received from DEI just wasn't viable," said Kelley E. Elledge, vice president and general manager for JR Motorsports.
Mommy dearest strikes again. No surprise there.

Hendrick Motorsports, the New York Yankees of NASCAR I cannot wait, love it. And for the mean hearted Junior fans I hope Gordon is listed as the car owner LOL, sorry that was mean!!

Well the good thing about Jr moving to Hendrick Motorsports is maybe he won't have as many DNFs due to engine issues in 2008.

Jr will have whatever they put under the hood. I am betting the Kyle Busch gets the sweeter ride though.
