Kyle Busch to Gibbs?

Kyle Busch.jpg

Doesn’t Joe Gibbs have enough on his plate? And now he wants to bring Kyle Busch in? Wow. I’ve seen Busch take his own brother out of a race. I can’t wait for the day that I see him do it to Tony Stewart.

Yup, I can see it now…I will be sitting there watching the race as I always do. Busch will “accidentally” take out Stewart. I will start grinning, just waiting for the interview. I am certain it would make for an excellent blog topic the next day!

I just can’t see the two of them working together well. He is supposedly taking over the No. 18 car driven by J.J. Yeley.

Love it, love it, love it! Have been hoping for this. As one friend put it, "Alot of gunpowder in one place."

The three of them will certainly keep things interesting that's for sure. I am sure Gibbs can handle it like he does his football team. Kyle is a champion just waiting to happen and so is Hamlin.

Gibbs can still field another car. I hope he keeps JJand I sure hope he does not go with Toyota. Chevy is still the dominant car manufacturer of Nascar.

Gibbs racing is also starting a professional motocross/supercross team. I think with a little coaching form Coach Gibbs that Kyle “Shrub” Busch will go somewhere. Tony won’t mind if Kyle, his teammate takes him out, Tony didn’t seem to care about teammates when he took out Hamlin…
And hell, I’d take out my brother for a chance at a win!!!

Get in that Toyota, DW, and show them how it's done.

It's a sad day for Gibbs. However Kyle is good, been good. He is still young. I think they will work well together, Smoke and Kyle, when it comes to the draft. We will see. I think that NASCAR should have every "team" have only 1 owner 1 driver. Make it an individual sport. I would crash my own brother for a win also. Climb the fence and show everyone my arm pits.

Sal- What the hell are you thinking- Tony and Kyle are like fire and ice. Probably Hamlin and Busch will be better teamed up. Gibbs needs a new driver, JJ Yeley just ain't cutting it and has not for sometime.

At least Nascar has finally put a cap on the number of cars an owner can have. I agree with you Sal. 1 car, 1 owner, and 1 driver. It would allow teams that don't have so much money to get in, but there are ways around the car-owner thing like Gordon is supposedly owner of the 48. Yeah right.

How about this the owner of the cars can not be drivers themselves. Drivers of Busch and Cup.

That would eliminate the Robbie Gordons and Morgan Shepards of the world, which is what folks are trying not to do!

Sometimes you have to make choices, Harvick can keep his wife as owner. Turn this sport into a fairer sport. Keep the fans guessing on who is going to win. We get like jelly when someone has the first win of the career. Building new race tracks would be good.

About this blog:
I am hopeful that this will be a place where people can air their two cents' worth about a race, catch up on the gossip and share their opinions on the rules and regulations of NASCAR. I have always felt that there has been a need for such a place in Maine and that this blog helps to fill the void.
