Pocono Picks

My pick this week is the obvious, Denny Hamlin. He won both races here in 2006 and finished sixth in June of this year. In that June race, he led most of the laps but it was pit strategy and weather that prevented him from winning.

Hopefully if my pick is correct, we will see a similar picture to this one.

Qualifying is at 3:30 this afternoon and will be aired on ESPN2.

Who's your pick for the weekend?

It would be nice to have JR win one. Don't you think?

I would love to see Jr win one, too, but he is not having the best luck this year.

Second isn't bad, especially after having trouble all day.

Changing that shock out mid-race was brilliant!!! Nice work 8-team.

Nice move by the crew on the shock change. Does anyone out there think he spun it on purpose? After all he has done that before. Also any comments on the busch race? I think this may be an interesting discussion.

You know, I said that SAME EXACT THING about Jr. spinning it on purpose while watching the race.

Jr would not spin out going that speed, in that turn., That would have been pretty gutsy if he did. Also would have taken some talent. He raced a great race.

About this blog:
I am hopeful that this will be a place where people can air their two cents' worth about a race, catch up on the gossip and share their opinions on the rules and regulations of NASCAR. I have always felt that there has been a need for such a place in Maine and that this blog helps to fill the void.
