Brickyard

This is my last entry this week. I am taking a few vacation days … but I wanted to throw this entry out there early and give you my picks for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway race.

First off, there’s the obvious, Jeff Gordon, who has won at the Brickyard four times, but he’s not who I’m going with.

I’ve actually got a couple drivers that I like this weekend: Tony Stewart and Matt Kenseth.

Tony always has a good last half to the season, for whatever reason. He won in Indianapolis in 2005 and is coming off a win at Chicagoland. I think he will be on fire this weekend.

Kenseth is so close to victory he can taste it. He has had four top-5 finishes here out of his seven starts. I think he will also be one to watch.

Who are your picks for the Brickyard?

Tony will always be my top pick. Also like Hamlin and Harvick.

Smoke to either take it, but definately in the top 5. Stewart, Kenseth, Kyle Busch, Johnson and Harvick. Hamlin to finish 15th. Gordon in top 10.

Dont know if any of you noticed Tony's attitude in the post race interview yesterday, but he really was a jerk. And that slip of the tongue "BS" word is going to cost him a few bucks and some points. He always has to be a jerk. His g/f left because of "anger management issues". I can see why!

How could you NOT notice. He's such a jerk. This is what I'm blogging about in my entry that is posting soon.

Girlfriends come and go. Women think it's all about them anyways. If she did leave, it wasn't because of anger. Tony just liked his car better, thats all. No tears, just exhaust fumes and 800 HORSES- NOW WHATS THE PROBLEM WITH THAT!

Just because she had anger management issues, doesn't make her a bad person..... She may just have had trouble expressing herself in a cool rational way.

About this blog:
I am hopeful that this will be a place where people can air their two cents' worth about a race, catch up on the gossip and share their opinions on the rules and regulations of NASCAR. I have always felt that there has been a need for such a place in Maine and that this blog helps to fill the void.
