All things racing...

Every now and then I like to open up a forum to what is going on locally over the weekend.

What are your racing plans this weekend? Are you planning on just watching a race on television or are you planning on attending an event?

Drag Racing? Motocross? Mud Runs?

Do you want to share how a particular team or individual is doing?

I would love to hear about it.

I am not sure I will continue with this type of forum. It doesn't seem to be generating any chatter. I only started it because of requests to talk about other forms of racing.

The day's not over yet, though. But if by the time I post my next entry tomorrow, there are no entries, I will assume that people don't care to share the happenings of local events.

There's always stuff to talk about in the NASCAR world...

I am not attending any form of racing this weekend. I will be watching Chicagolandon television on Sunday.

Thanks for letting me/us know what you will be doing...

What time do the events start on Saturday?

Meant to ask before, but now that you have been to a live Nascar race, would you go again?

Carole-
Yes, I am going to go back to NHIS in September. I was invited back by Fred Neergaard, Director of Media Relations. As long as he will still have me, I am attending.

It was really hard work, but seeing it on television and actually attending a live event are so different. I am not sure at this time if I will be branching out and attending any other race. We will see.

Linda-
let's hope that Tony can refrain from payback...(because in his mind, that last wreck was Hamlin's fault)

Forget other form of racing, stick to the NASCAR. It's what we have been waiting for, seeing that there hasn't been anything in the online(ha ha) sports page for the herald- just RedSOX.

About this blog:
I am hopeful that this will be a place where people can air their two cents' worth about a race, catch up on the gossip and share their opinions on the rules and regulations of NASCAR. I have always felt that there has been a need for such a place in Maine and that this blog helps to fill the void.
