Penalties are in for Gordon and Johnson crews

Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson have both been docked 100 points, similar to the penalties and fines of Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Steve Letarte and Chad Knaus have each been fined $100,000 and are both suspended for the next six events and placed on probation until Dec. 31.

One hundred owner points have also been deducted from both Rick Hendrick, owner of the #24, and Jeff Gordon, owner of the #48.

About this blog:
I am hopeful that this will be a place where people can air their two cents' worth about a race, catch up on the gossip and share their opinions on the rules and regulations of NASCAR. I have always felt that there has been a need for such a place in Maine and that this blog helps to fill the void.
