Dirt track racing…tonight!

On HBO Pay-Per-View at 7 p.m. there will be a live race at Tony Stewart’s Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio

Some of the drivers racing tonight include: Kevin Harvick, Tony Stewart, Juan Pablo Montoya, Jeff Gordon, Matt Kenseth, Kasey Kahne, Carl Edwards, Ryan Newman and Mark Martin, just to name a few.

This is the third annual NEXTEL Prelude to the Dream presented by Old Spice.

You do not need to have a subscription to HBO to order the race.

Proceeds from the telecast will support the Victory Junction Gang Camp and Tony Stewart Foundation. There should be some exciting racing on this half-mile, oval dirt track! I, for one, will be watching…

Race details.

Don't mock Montoya. I read somewhere that if he wins, he'll be the only man in history that has won Indy, Monte Carlo and Eldora

I read the same thing, I believe it was from Power Rankings on the nascar page. Have you ever noticed how serious those Power Ranking guys are? They're not. I'm with the Paperboy on this one. Montoya may not be all that out of his element on dirt, He'll still have to turn right at turn 1. Yeah I said right, do you remember lap 1 of the Nextel Open. Hey,hey no hard feelings Jennifer and Frank, I have nothing against Jaun, just seemed like an easy wagon to jump on(Paperboy started it). I dont expect any surprises tonight, the guys with the dirt track background have the advantage(Wallace,Stewart,Boyer,Blaney,Newman,Kahne). Should be a good show no matter who wins.
Until next time GO FAST, TURN LEFT.

About this blog:
I am hopeful that this will be a place where people can air their two cents' worth about a race, catch up on the gossip and share their opinions on the rules and regulations of NASCAR. I have always felt that there has been a need for such a place in Maine and that this blog helps to fill the void.
