Students, crew, faculty and staff at Maine Maritime Academy have been very busy the entire month of May preparing the schooner Bowdoin for a training cruise to the Arctic. Aiming for a May 29th departure from the MMA dock in Castine, Maine.

Rick Miller, MMA faculty, will be captaining the schooner with Chief Mate Eric Jergenson, MMA Sailing Master, 2nd Mate Chris Moore, MMA 2008 Graduate, 3rd Mate Dylan Clark, MMA 2008 graduate & Steward Jill Hughes.

The ships crew consists of the following 11 students:
