Billett commits to Boston College
The Boston College men's hockey program has gotten its second commitment from a Mainer this season. The New Hampshire Junior Monarchs announced that Brian Billett, a junior at Kennebunk and a goalie with Monarchs, has given a verbal commitment to the Eagles.
Billett is 9-1-1 this season for the Junior Monarchs' A team, with a .923 saves percentage and a 2.37 goals-against average. Sean Tremblay, general manager of the Monarchs, said Billett is expected to join the Eagles for the 2010-2011 season.
The NCAA prohibits college coaches from discussing recruits before they have signed a National Letter of Intent.
