I take it all back!
Posted by Sarah McGinnis

It's just a handful of chapters later, and everything we thought we knew about Lizzy and her families (past and present) has changed. Father Mike is still alive, and has been living a new life in Ohio...how could this be? How could he bear knowing that Lizzy has been growing up without him, thinking he was gone forever?

And in this difficult and confusing time, Drew has turned out to be incredibly understanding and supportive...and the romance has returned to their marriage. In fact, at the moment, theirs seems like the most stable relationship of all.

I, for one, was completely surprised by this turn of events... I expected that there would be some twists and revelations as Lizzie learned about what had happened to Father Mike so many years before. But I never guessed that his death was a cover-up, that the vision Lizzie saw in the hospital was actually her uncle, alive and well. Did anyone else see that coming?

I haven't read ahead to the final chapters yet, so I'm anxious to see how this will all turn out - will Lizzy find Mike? Will he want to see her? How will he possibly explain all the missing years?
