Questions for Monica Wood?
Posted by Angela Muhs

I just wanted to let everyone know that Monica Wood has agreed to participate in a live chat on pressherald.com after we've finished the book. Mark your calendars now for 12:30 p.m. on March 31. (If you can't be online then, we'll archive the chat and keep it on the site.)

So as you read, make sure to jot down any questions you have. (We also can take questions in advance if you can't be online for the chat.)

I'm finding the book to be a fast read -- even though I know this time how it ends, I can't put it down. What are your impressions so far?

Yes Angie I agree it's a fast read because I can't put it down. I sat down this afternoon to finish this week's 'assignments' but found I'm in very deep--I'll be up late tonite. I was pulled in immediately, and even at 11 chapters I'm able to picture all the characters (at least those so far introduced) as real people. The writing is exquisite, and I can't wait to find out what's next. Even tho the story so far is presented as factual, you just know something else must be lurking to twist the plot.

I am enjoying the book very much so far. I think the story idea is very original, which is important to me. I like how the book is written, hinting at things and slowly revealing them. Like Tina, I feel that a big twist must be lurking...

I am enjoying the book very much. I like the writing style --- it is a bit mysterious, revealing information slowly. Like Tina, I am expecting a big plot twist.

How exciting that Monica will be here to chat with readers! We're so lucky to have her in town.

For another opportunity to hear Monica's voice, check out this interview with Charlotte Albright that she gave years ago:
