This is a request for your story ideas. The topic this time is Thanksgiving.

Yes, I know the holiday is still two months away, but it’s never too early to start planning stories to run during the holiday week. What we’d like to do is run a series of stories over several days Thanksgiving week that are linked to the holiday, or have a similar theme. Previous series have included profiles of people who are making a difference, and Q&A’s with people about what they’re thankful for.

At this stage we’re still searching for good ideas, so I thought I’d put it out to you, our readers, to start the conversation and brainstorming process. If you’ve got an idea for a Thanksgiving week series, list it as a comment on this blog. I’ll keep checking back, and let you know how the process is going. When we select an idea - whether it’s yours or ours - I’ll let you know and we can start a discussion about that, too.
