Great azaleas
Our azaleas were the bright spot of a gray weekend. We have about six of them in a corner of the back yard, under an old apple tree.
I don't know the varieties – they were planted quite a while ago. But over the years they have grown and spread and look good all mingled together.
You can see the Japanese maple to the right and some hosta in front.
Other flowers in the garden include a gorgeous red tree peony behind our blueberries and some bearded iris.
I had just cut some iris for inside when some surprise company showed up. The house looked good.
Coming along are the Siberian iris and the rest of the peonies, with big fat buds about to burst.
Nancy took the picture of the azaleas.
